Room 406, Saturday morning

After leaving Cal's room, Isabel had done just what she'd said she would, gone back to her room and immediately gone to sleep. She wasn't sure when Wyatt had turned up, all she knew was at some point there was a warm body to snuggle up to.

Isabel was in the midst of a pleasant dream, and certainly not ready to wake up, when suddenly there was an announcement.

"You've got to be kidding me."

[For the boyfriend who was modded with permission. For great slowplay till this evening.]

Wyatt grumbled sleepily. "And people tell me I'm full of myself."

"You've got the looks to carry it off," Isabel told him, not moving just yet.

"I guess it's going to be one of those weekends."

"Maybe we should just stay in bed all weekend," Wyatt murmured.

"Tempting. So tempting," she sighed. "But did you see the spirit's wandering around? Michael's supposed to work the diner today. I want to go set up some salt lines to protect him." And she wanted to make sure he didn't do anything dumb.

"But Hades will get yoooooooou," Wyatt said, his tone making it clear he wasn't taking Hades seriously.

"As if." It's not that Isabel didn't take him seriously. Hello, god of the underworld and all that. She just didn't plan on going to look for him. "I doubt he'll stop into the diner looking for a burger and fries."

"Maybe I should orb you, just to be safe," Wyatt said.

"No, you have a more important job," Isabel told him. "Staying here and keeping the bed warm."

"Mmmm, bed," Wyatt said, too sleepy to protest much. "Just stay away from cranky gods with delusions of grandeur, okay?"

"I promise," she smiled, giving him a quick kiss before slipping quickly from the bed least she be tempted to stay there.

"Love you," Wyatt mumbled before falling back asleep, totally not hugging Isabel's pillow, really.

Isabel paused for a moment and gently ran her fingers down Wyatt's arm. "Love you to. Very much."

She'd go, get Michael set up and make sure he wasn't going to do anything dumb, then she'd come back. By the time she got back, Isabel was certain that the cavalry would be suiting up to go take down Hades and she and Wyatt could join them. It'd be fun to have one last ass-kicking before they left town.

Pleased with that plan, Isabel headed off to the shower.
