Room 406, all day

It hadn't been a bad last week in Fandom. Between being social, seals, presents, and reality TV, it was certainly memorable. Even if the good-byes weren't so much fun.

There wasn't much left to pack. But Isabel was taking her time doing it.

The door was open.

"All eighteen hundred and some odd miles of it," she nodded. "And then another almost eight hundred in August when I head from Roswell to Vegas. At some point I'm going to have to drive to LA just to say I've gone from sea to shining sea."

"Been there, done that," Dean said. "Not necessarily in a straight line, but yeah. I s'pose I should just be glad you're staying on the planet, what with the being an alien thing and all."

"Been there, done that, got a really crappy t-shirt," Isabel said, frowning slightly. "Trust me. I'm not leaving the planet again."

"Good. Because that makes trying to visit really suck."

"Nope, visiting will be easy. And I expect it." Her roommate was going to hate her.

"I mean it's Vegas. Just think of the fun we can have."

Dean grinned widely. "Vegas is awesome. Just, y'know, stay away from vampire shows."

Isabel facepalmed. "Because of course they're not just actors."

"Least if you let Bel pick the show."

"Bel. And vampires." She sighed and shook her head. "You know? I can't even be surprised by that."

"How many did you have to stake before you got out?"

"Y'know, I don't even remember any more," Dean said. "I think the sight of Bel clearly demonstrating his vampire fetish has kinda blocked out the details."

Isabel put her head in her hands and snickered. "Ordinarily I'd flail about TMI, but you're not telling me anything I don't know."

"I promise I will stick to only the regular, well-know shows on the strip," she promised. "Well, except for Cirque de Soliel. Because I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't demons or something. Real people don't move like that."

"Yeah, all bendy," Dean said, with a speculative leer.

"How often does your mind get stepped on, rolling around the gutter like that?" Isabel asked.

"Oh like you don't think things like that at all," Dean said.

"Never," she said primly, lifting her chin in the air.

Then she laughed, "Unless I'm bored."

"Hey, I'm dating Meg. I know exactly what kind of dirty mind you innocent looking pretty blondes have."

"And admit it. You love us for it," Isabel grinned.

"Never denied it," Dean said easily. "Makes life a lot more interesting."

"Which is important."

She smiled, but a little more seriously. "Have I ever said thank you?"

"Everything. Going with me to get Michael, decking Hank. Riding to the rescue when Meg and I got grabbed," Isabel answered. "Like I said, everything."

"Don't mention it," Dean said. "It's what friends do, right?"

"It is. And you're a good one," she told him. "And I'm definitely going to miss not seeing you a regular basis."

"Yeah, me too," Dean said. "But hey, only a call away, huh? And if you ever need anything... well, have impala, will travel."

"I might just have to take you up on that," Isabel smiled. "Although I still don't understand what's wrong with my car."
