A park in Roswell, April 24th

The day's plans were supposed to include shopping, lunch out, and possibly some dancing later that evening. Except those were the plans of 20 year old Isabel. Six year old Isabel was much happier spending the afternoon at the park playing on the swings, happily looking forward to a promised dinner at the Crashdown.

"Parker! Wyatt! Maria! Look at me! I'm almost flying!"

"A baby? Someone's having a baby?" Isabel squeed, dragging her feet to stop the swing. "Are you having a baby Maria?"

She was six. Some things still were a little unclear.

"Nooooooooooooooo," Maria drawled out, horrified. "Why would you even-- what? No!"

"Cause only a baby would call you Auntie Maria," Isabel explained as she jumped off the swing and ran over to carefully inspect Maria for the new baby. "Is Liz having a baby then? That'd be nice."

Parker, meanwhile was laughing herself breathless, and grinning evilly at Maria. "Liz would certainly seem like the first one to go, wouldn't she?"

"She's busy studying for school though. I don't know if she has time to have one," Isabel admitted sadly.

"I am so telling her you said that, when you're bigger," Maria said, raising her eyebrows. "Your brother might have a few things to say on the subject too."

"So will Michael. He'll be cranky." Out of the mouths of babes...

"We're so not caring, though," Parker said. "Him or Liz, right? Because you can think whatever you want. Want to go on the slide?"

"Sure! You don't even have to catch me!" Isabel grinned, taking off for the ladder to the top of the slide.
