Technically it wasn't April 1st just yet. But Isabel plans for the next day and she wasn't sure that she'd get a chance to make this particular call.

Besides, there wasn't much on TV and she was bored.

Picking up her phone, she dialed a familiar number.

[For one specifically, but open if anyone else needs to get some alum activity for the month.]

"We'll fix it," Angel promised her. Not that he had any idea what she was talking about, but since when did that ever stop him? "It'll be fine."

"I don't know, Angel. This is serious." Despite the fact that she was close to snickering, Isabel managed to keep her voice solemn. "They said the fire is going to have the factory out of commission for months. There's going to be a serious insert high-end hair product name here gel shortage. What are you going to do?"

"Wait - what?" Angel tried to process all of that. He focused on the important matters. "Not in this dimension!"

Surely not in his dimension, right?

"It is! The factory was a multi-dimensional hub. You'd better go hit the salon and stock up while you can." Briefly Isabel wondered if she'd be able to pull the same story on Wyatt when he turned up later in the evening.

Okay clearly this was serious.

"Thanks for the warning," Angel managed to say before he hung up to rush off to the salon. Possibly several.

And that would be Isabel, staring at her phone, too stunned to even snicker.

It there hadn't been a shortage before, at least in one little corner of the multi-verse, there certainly was going to be.
