33 Apocolypse Ave, Late Wednesday afternoon

Isabel had returned from the Reserve meeting and was talking things over with Wyatt when suddenly he'd orbed away.

And left her behind.

She was going to kill him when he got back. But until that happened, Isabel was going to pace the living room and worry.

Jack observed the pacing for a moment, and would have turned back entirely if the house's layout hadn't meant he needed to go into the living room to get to the kitchen.

Besides, the blonde was his housemate. Possibly until the end of the world. May as well be friendly.

"Isabel, isn't it?" He said. "I'm Jack. I apologize for dropping in on all of you like this. I didn't want to be an intrusion."

Peter had been working long shifts which didn't give him much time for talking. However with things being as weird as they were there was no way Peter was going to let Isabel's voicemail to him go unanswered.

So when he had a few free moments on the job thus placing this conversation before he talks to Sam in the other post he gave her a call.

Wyatt hadn't been gone long after he'd abruptly orbed out when he'd felt Savannah was in danger. A few minutes later he returned, Savannah with him. It wasn't a smooth ride, though, and he almost crashed into the couch when they reappeared.

He was more confused than panicked. How the hell had he felt Savannah was in trouble?

Wyatt and Savannah had left by the time Isabel got off the phone with Peter. With nothing else to do, and still feeling edgy, Isabel returned to the living room and passed her hand over the wall, repairing the damage from Wyatt's punch.

Repairs complete, she curled up in a corner of the couch to wait with her phone. For once she wasn't sending texts. Instead she was looking at pictures of her family.
