33 Apocolypse Ave, Wednesday evening
Keeping in mind what she'd been told at the library, Isabel kept a wary eye out on the way back to Ronan's house.
She didn't notice anyone suspicious and maybe she was just being paranoid, but it seemed like the streets were a little emptier then normal.
Relieved to finally be back in familiar surroundings, Isabel poked around the kitchen and tried to figure out what to make for dinner.

"When she got there, the store was completely empty, not an employee or customer in sight." Isabel gestured towards the window and the darkness outside. "With all the weirdness going on, people are living on caffeine. They should be working double shifts. Then the creepy people came in. The ones that were fascinated by something so primitive as a written note."

He thought about it for a moment.
"I've never seen the Perk empty."

Isabel had drawn the same conclusion herself about the Perk. "Yeah, I know. And was it just me or did the streets seem even quieter then normal tonight?"
no subject
"Much quieter. I thought people were staying in because of everything going on."

She shuddered, turning back to the chopping board. "I guess people could be staying in, but it just seemed more deserted."

"But first we deal with the creepy people." Yes, back to reality. "I think it might be wise for the time being if no one goes out alone."
