Room 406, Thursday morning

Waking up next to Greg had been wonderful. Too wonderful in fact. Warm and cozy under the covers, it was too easy to get distracted and not think about the fact that she had to leave in a few hours. This time her reluctance to leave has nothing to do with where she's going and who she'll see, but everything to do with who she's leaving behind and the dwindling time they have left.

Not wanting to say a sappy good-bye in front of Bel, Isabel finally chased Greg out and then raced into the shower. By ten she'd finished packing the last of her things ans was sitting on her bed waiting for Bel.
