Isabel sat on her bed surrounded by papers and books attempting to get her homework done so she can enjoy the rest of the weekend.

She looks busy but the door is open so interruptions are welcome.

Jake stuck his head in, saw that Isabel looked busy and so just put his gift for Xander (http://www.cafepress.com/buy/geek/-/pv_design_prod/p_1895.42995362/id_10467624/pNo_42995362/fpt____________________AX__d/opt_/c_82/pg_) down on the floor and wandered off again.

Xander, a bag of fresh, hot doughnuts in his hand, noticed a post-it note with his name on it on the floor as he walked in the door, and scooped it up.

"Hey, roomie. Up for a sugar-break?" he asked, holding out the bag of doughnuts enticingly.

He knocks politely.
