Room 406, Late Saturday Evening

For a Saturday the day had been busy. After the trip to the pet store and then spending the afternoon and early part of the evening baking cupcakes and doing some (okay, a lot) of campaigning in the common room, Isabel was glad to get back to the quiet of her room. She was even happier when Annie woke up and and started to bat at the bit of string Isabel dangled in front of her.

"...ew," Greg said. "That is so gross. I promise not to ever get you one of those."

"Thanks," she laughed. "Besides, I think I'm set for a while with Annie here." Isabel scooped up the kitten and scratched her head. "We don't need any slimy salamanders in our room. So," she said, stretching out her leg and lightly prodding Greg with her foot. "What have you been up to?"

"I played with slides," Greg said, still smiling at the cat.

"Oh? Anything special?" she asked before laughing softly as Annie yawned. "Poor thing, she's all worn out."

"Awwwwwwwwww," Greg said. "Nothing special, no."

Leaning over, Isabel gently placed the kitten in the basket where it rested on the floor next to the bed. "I've been making posters and cupcakes and campaigning. It's been fun."

"Yay," Greg said, finally shifting his attention from Annie to his girlfriend. "Is there anything I can do campaign-wise?"

Isabel didn't feel a little bit jealous of the kitten, really. "Willow and I made some posters the other night. If you can help me hang them tomorrow that would be great. Otherwise, just vote for us."
