"Aeryn was sent here by the military. Last Spring she went back for a few weeks but then escaped and came back here," she explained. "Apparently they've decided they want her back. Whether she wants to go or not." She left out the part about the kidnapper being Aeryn's mother, realizing Aeryn probably wouldn't want that broadcast around.
