Room 406, Saturday afteroon

All in all it had been a pretty busy week, between library duty, visits with friends, and lots of prom preparation. Saturday morning Isabel got up early and made a handwavey trip to town to check on the last minute details.

Late afternoon found her back in her room, busy getting ready and remembering last year when Xander and Bridge had been there to have dinner with.

Her mask was laying on her bed, as Isabel put on her dress and finished up her hair and make-up.

"Thanks," she smiled. "This was supposed to be my Homecoming dress. I'm glad I finally got a chance to wear it."

"I forgot about my homecoming dress," Angela admitted. "But I really like the one I found." She paused. "I could just use a tiny bit of help with my hair? See, the dress is light purple, and I think it would look better if I was kind of a honey blond. Nothing platinum or anything crazy."

"Can you give me a hand?"

"Of course," Isabel said. "This is a better use of my skills then tormenting Stickbugs. Not that that wasn't fun. But sure, I can do that." She motioned at the desk chair. "Just come have a seat."

"If you wanted to torment me and make it green or something, I guess I couldn't fight back," Angela teased, sitting. "I'm at your mercy!"

"I wouldn't dare," she promised, running her hands over a section of Angela's hair. "How about that? Good? Or a little lighter or darker?"

Angela looked in Isabel's mirror. "Perfect," she said, smiling at the blond looking back at her. "I think I'm just going to leave it down for prom. It's gotten longer than I thought."

"It looks good on you," Isabel agreed. "I'm going up, as you can see. I think it'll be cooler if I'm dancing."

"That's true," Angela said. "I'll stick some bobby pins in my purse in case my hair is driving me nuts down."

She rose from the chair, checking herself out again in the mirror. "Seriously, thank you so much. I should go finish getting ready."

"Anytime," she smiled. "And just come by whenever you want it changed back. It'll only take a minute."

Angela nodded. "I'll see how long it takes me to get sick of it."
