Room 406, evening

It had been a typical week in Fandom. Isabel had caught up with people and enjoyed a bit of gremlin induced hijinks.

After closing up Pixie Dust, she'd returned to her room, dried off and settled in to work on her essay for Dr. Wilson's class.

She had no idea what other people had to deal with that day.

Wyatt knocked on Isabel's door, wondering just how to say, "Hi, honey, we have a daughter."

"It's open," she called out, her attention still on what she was typing.

He opened the door and stepped into the room. "Hi, honey, we have a daughter," he said, every so suavely.

The sentence she'd been trying to type? Gone.

Isabel ever so carefully saved the file, closed the laptop, and then set it aside.

"We've been invaded again?"

"Just in Fandom Invasion class," Wyatt told her. "Our possible kids from the future showed up. It's a girl!"

"Did you get pictures by any chance?" Isabel? Curious about what a mixture of alien and witch genes would look like? Hell yeah.

"'Course I did," Wyatt said, pulling out his cellphone and calling up the pictures. He handed it to Isabel. "Her name is Victoria Maureen Halliwell. Maureen your grandmother or something?"

Isabel started to laugh as she looked through the pictures.

"She's got your curls. And no, Maureen is not my grandmother. It's my best friend." Hopefully Wyatt could figure it out, because then technically, Isabel wouldn't be telling him and Parker wouldn't have to kill her.

"Your best friend?" Wyatt said, brow furrowed. "Wait -- Parker? That's her name?"

"If you do not want either one of us to wind up dead," she said with absolute seriousness. "You will never, ever call her that."

Wyatt snickered. "What's she going to do, throw a shoe at me?"

"Quite possibly," Isabel grinned. "She can be deadly."

She turned her attention back to the phone. "So tell me, what was she like? She's cute but was she sweet? Or a brat?"

"She was adorable," Wyatt said. "She loved chocolate ice cream with hot sauce."

"Definitely my kid then," she replied. "Sweet and spicy must be an inherited thing. So how freaked out were you when she came up and said hi?"

"Just a little," Wyatt admitted. "Since I didn't have any kids pop up last time, I wasn't expecting any in class, but there she was, jumping into my arms."

"Smart girl." Isabel felt the need demonstrate exactly where Miss Victoria got her smarts from, so she got to her feet to give Wyatt a hug. "I have to say, I'm impressed. A bit over two weeks and Fandom's already found potential children."

Wyatt grinned and hugged her back. "She wants a little brother, too," he said.

"She might have to wait a bit," she pointed out. "Unless we're going back to the early wedding thing. In which case? You can break the news to my parents."

"I'm sure they'll love me," Wyatt said. "Especially when I show them pictures of their future granddaughter."

"They did like you. Of course that was before there was dating. Or kissing." A thought that reminded her she needed one. "A granddaughter implies more. Which means my dad's going to have to threaten you. Sure you're up to facing that?"

"You're worth it," Wyatt said, stealing a kiss. "Definitely worth it."

"I'd say the same about you," Isabel smiled, pulling him over to the bed. "Want to spend some quality time before I disappear for the weekend? You still need to watch that movie."

"No other place I'd rather be," Wyatt said, settling on the bed and drawing her with him.

"You do realize I still need to dig out the DVD and put it in the player don't you?" she asked. Not that it stopped her from curling into his side.

Wyatt made a pouty face. "Can't you just TK it in?"
