Room 406, evening

After Bridge's party, Isabel had a fairly quiet weekend. She'd gone shopping on the mainland, caught up on some reading, and took a few long naps.

Fortunately Monday's classes were fairly low-key, so Isabel returned to her room and set about wrapping the pile of Christmas presents she'd accumulated for the people.

Christmas carols were playing and the door was open.

Bridge knocks on the doorframe and pokes his head in.

Isabel looked up, ready to TK the door shut if the wrong person was about to poke their head in and accidentally find out what their present was. Fortunately Bridge's gift was already neatly wrapped and waiting for him.

"Hey Bridge! What's up?"

"I come bearing presents," Bridge says with a grin. "...In a non-Santa kind of way."

"I'm not fussy about how presents get here," Isabel grinned. "Just that they get here. I'm greedy."

"Okay, well, good," Bridge says, stepping in to the room and holding out a package wrapped in shiny green paper. "Cause, well. Happy Hanukkah!"

"Why thank you," she replied, handing over a small brightly wrapped package of her own. "And a Happy Hanukkah to you as well."

Gift given, Isabel quickly started to unwrap her own present. "This is my first official holiday present."

"Likewise," Bridge says, also joining in on the unwrapping. "Well, technically speaking, my birthday did fall during Hanukkah this year so I suppose those were technically holiday present type things..."

"Absolutely not," Isabel replied firmly. "Thinking like that could cause you to lose out on presents! There is a very distinct difference between birthday gifts and holiday gifts. No matter when your birthday happens."

"Duly noted," Bridge says with a solemn nod and a wink. "I won't make that mistake again."

"Oh this is lovely Bridge," she smiled, opening the box and immediately slipping the bracelet on. "Thank you."

"You're welcome," Bridge says. "I thought the colours suited you." To someone like Bridge? Colour-coordination is a very important detail. He finishes unwrapping his own present and pulls it out of the box "Wha- oh!" he says, laughing as he pulls the top of the little figure's head off to reveal that it's actually a USB drive. "That's cute, in an angry kind of way. Thanks!"

"I was thinking more fierce," Isabel explained. "Of course I might have been watching too much Tyra lately."
