Room 406, evening

Once again Isabel was grateful that traveling with Wyatt was so much nicer then regular air travel or even portal. She made it home from Angel's with time enough to run into town to get some chocolate pudding before The Amazing Race started.

Wondering how Michael was doing, she handwavily left him a message then settled back to watch the end of 60 Minutes.

The door was open.

"Good, thank you." Cimorene replied politely. "Er...are there wizards here?"

"There are, yes," she nodded. "Witches to. Is that a problem?"

"Are they good wizards?" She asked.

"Oh absolutely," Isabel said immediately. "Who'd you meet?"

"Ronan." Cimorene said a little uncomfortably.

"Oh he's a sweetheart," she smiled. "We hang out together a lot. He's an awesome cook."

"Oh." Cimorene summarized. "Does he like chocolate mousse?" She finally asked.

"Yup. Especially if it's spicy." Isabel raised an eyebrow, "Did something happen?"

Cimorene figured she could find a recipe in the library for spicy chocolate mousse. "Um, well, no, not really." He hadn't melted after all.

"Not really? Around here that sort of means well at least no one died," she said. "Really, tell me. It's okay."

That was exactly what Cimorene was thinking. "Back home, wizards are annoying, absorb magic, kill kings, and are just all around pests. They also melt." She figured Cimorene could make her own assumptions there.

Wet Ronan. Hmmm.... That was an image. "Ronan's not like that. Not at all," Isabel promised. "He's funny and sweet and nice. His job is to help people, not hurt them."

"Well, he got to smell lemony fresh for an afternoon." Cimorene said, biting on her lip. "Are there more wizards at school?"

"Cedric's the only other wizard I know of," she said after a moment's thought. "But there are a couple of witches around. I'm dating one."

"There's witches back home too." Cimorene commented and made a note not to melt Cedric.

"What's the difference?"

Cimorene frowned. "Wizards use staffs and absorb others magic to use it. Witches use their own magic, and are generally more intelligent. And as far as I know there are no female wizards."

"Well Cedric has a wand. But I've never seen him use it for anything but good." Isabel chuckled, remembering certain silly wand jokes. "Okay, that makes sense I guess."

"That I tried to melt Ronan?" Cimorene asked jokingly.

"Well I bet he looked very nice when wet," she laughed.

Cimorene ran the image in her head. "Yes, he did." She said somewhat analytically.

"Somehow I get the feeling you didn't appreciate that the way I would have," Isabel replied.

Cimorene shrugged. "There's more to a person then looks." She paused. "Do you like him?"

"I do yes," she nodded. "But not like that. We're just friends. I've been dating Wyatt for the last three months."

Cimorene was a bit confused, but she didn't let it show. "Dating?"
