Room 406, Evening

Since they were going to be dressed up at the dance on Friday, Isabel & Wyatt had decided to have a quiet Valentine's night in. Dinner first, then movies, and more likely, some quality time together. Isabel couldn't think of a better way to spend the night.

After work and a stop at Ching Tai, she set up a makeshift picnic on the floor and lit some candles, smiling once more at the flowers she'd gotten that morning.

Now all she needed was a boyfriend shaped person.

"Check out the one at the top," Wyatt said. "I searched high and low for those special treats." He unwrapped the sun pendant. "Ooh, shiny," he said. "Does this mean I light up your life?"

"These are awesome. I'm going to have to hide them from Ronan otherwise he'll be looking to steal them."

"That's part of it. The other part? Well I have a special fondess for right there," she explained, reaching over to brush a finger over the hollow of his throat. "And I think that compliments it nicely." And will be a lovely distraction in class but she'd never mention that.

Wyatt grinned and started to tie the necklace around his neck. "Then I'd better start wearing it now," he said.

"It suits you," Isabel smiled. "Perfectly."

Lifting the large box into her lap, she listened carefully. "The holes are just for show right? Nothing's alive in there?"

"Only if Fandom weirdness has gotten to it," Wyatt said, eyeing the box a little nervously at that thought.

"If I get bit by a gremlin, you'd better keep me from doing anything embarrassing," she warned as she opened the box. And then she was laughing as she realized exactly what the bear was. "Oh that's too cute."

"I saw it and couldn't resist," Wyatt said. "Even though you've probably seen a lot of stuff like that around home."

"This is actually cute," Isabel grinned, giving the bear a hug. "The stuff at home takes tacky to entirely new levels. The next time you're there, I'll have to bring you to Amy's shop. You'll either be highly amused, or horrified."

Wyatt opened his next box and had to laugh. "Looks like we went shopping in the same place," he said, pulling out his Love Bandit Bear.

"Great minds think alike. That's my story and I'm sticking too it," she told him. After opening the small velvet bag, she shook her head. "Still sticking to that story. Open that little box and see what I mean."

"Okay, this is getting scary," Wyatt snickered, opening the box of love tokens. "I guess it just proves we're on the same wavelength."

"Or at least pretty close to it," Isabel agreed as she read the tokens he'd given her. "Although I have to admit, these are a tiny bit more risque then mine. Fantasy? I'm going to have to think about that. But I suppose it might involve what's in that other box."

"Open it," Wyatt said, a mischievous smile on his face.

"I will if you open that one," she said, motioning towards the box that held Deadpool's handcuffs. Then she got busy opening her own package.

"Oh... This is kind of like whipped cream on top of the dessert. I like it."

"Interesting," Wyatt said, pulling out the handcuffs and dangling them in the air. "Got something in mind?"

"Maybe?" Isabel grinned hopefully. "I think you might like it."

"Only if you're wearing that," Wyatt said, nodding at the lingerie.

She lifted the lingerie up and held it against her. "That could be arranged. That could definitely be arranged."

"After the dance?" Wyatt said. "Or, why wait, how about now?"

"Why wait indeed?" Isabel wondered. "I'll go get changed." With a grin, she disappeared into the bathroom, shutting the door behind her.

Wyatt cleaned up the cartons of food on the floor while he waited. He was such a considerate boyfriend, after all.

Opening the door quietly, Isabel waited for him to notice her.

Wyatt glanced to the bathroom door. "Whoa," he said, taking in the sight of Isabel in his gift.

"You've got incredible taste," she told him, smoothing her hands over the silk as it brushed the top of her thighs. "I like it. A lot."

"'Course I've got good taste," Wyatt grinned. "I'm dating you, aren't I?"
