"Can't blame them," Parker said, her voice gentle. "This sort of thing doesn't exactly come with a script, does it?" She opened a window, glanced west, and shook her head. The aftermath couldn't be much more fun than the actual events had been. "I'm so, so glad you're okay. Now." She drummed her fingers on the windowsill, then abruptly said, "When can you come visit?"
