It hadn't been a bad last week in Fandom. Between being social, seals, presents, and reality TV, it was certainly memorable. Even if the good-byes weren't so much fun.

There wasn't much left to pack. But Isabel was taking her time doing it.

The door was open.

"I'm from the year 3000," Jen replied with a completely straight face. "Picking up the phone is like the barefoot in the snow uphill both ways way to communicate."

"Let me guess, you communicate with the power of your mind?" she asked with a grin.

"Uh huh," Jen said, tapping her Chronomorpher and still totally deadpan. "It's like how all I have to do to go to work is imagine it and I'm there without even leaving the house."

Isabel snickered. "I hope you change out of your robe and slippers before you do that."

Jen snorted, and now she cracked a smile. "Do I look like a robe and slippers girl to you?"

"Nah," she said after a moment's consideration. "Probably flannel pants and a sweatshirt."

"Even that sounds luxurious," Jen remarked. "Considering I spent a year with only four changes of clothes WTF wardrobe department. More like sweatpants and a tank top, though."

"Seriously?" Isabel asked, appalled. "Now I know what to get you for Christmas."

Jen shrugged. "Doing odd jobs didn't cover much more than getting us fed, you know? It's okay. I can afford clothes now. Even the Pizza Planet paycheck goes a lot further when it's not supporting five people."

"True enough," she nodded. "But I'll still find you something nice."

"You don't have to, honestly," Jen began to protest, but smiled. "But thanks."

"You're welcome," Isabel smiled. "So I guess this is it till you visit?"
