Room 406, all day

It hadn't been a bad last week in Fandom. Between being social, seals, presents, and reality TV, it was certainly memorable. Even if the good-byes weren't so much fun.

There wasn't much left to pack. But Isabel was taking her time doing it.

The door was open.

"I'm going to do my best. I've already had enough trouble to last a lifetime," Isabel admitted.

"You and me both. I'm going to head off now. You call me," he said going in for one more hug before he turned to head towards the door. There was so much he would have liked to say. She was one of the first girls he liked when he came here. None of it was appropriate to mention, but he was thinking it.

Not only would he get a hug, but a soft kiss as well. It wasn't as if she didn't have some of the same thoughts as well. But more importantly he'd been fun and a friend when she needed a distraction. Everything else that came after was just icing on the proverbial cake.

"Love you," she said quietly.

"Love you," he returned, his voice just as quiet as he reached a hand to caress her cheek gently. Then Johnny smiled and slipped out of her room.

Isabel watched him leave before putting her head down and rubbing her eyes. That one hurt.
