Room 406, Evening

It had been a long night followed by a slightly longer day. But it hadn't been a bad day. It was good to know she'd helped Bel put to rest his worries about his demon. And nice to actually spend some time talking to Cam.

Isabel didn't feel like wandering out in search of company tonight. Instead she's sprawled on her bed getting a start on reading next week's assignment for Western Lit.

The door's open.

"I'm not exactly sure," she says. "He doesn't react well to the idea of surgery to remove it, but he's already doing what Scorpius tells him to do. You mentioned the dreamwalking thing, and I don't know if there's any way you can just see what's happening or... find out something from it. Is that something you can do?"

"If he agrees, I can go in and see what's happening. But I don't know that I'll be able to do anything," she said. "I've never dealt with anything like this before. But of course I'll try."

"He said he was open to the idea," she says. And after Tactics of War, she will kick his ass if he's still stalling. "You should know, though, in case it's not obvious so far, Scorpius is not a good person."

"He is? Good." She nodded when Aeryn mentioned Scorpius. "He sounds like a bastard. But it's okay, what happens in the dreamwalk isn't real even if it does scare the hell out of you," she said, remembering the fireball. "You know, I could bring you in with me, if you wanted."

She blinks at that, because that's new. "I think I'll leave that up to him," she says. "He and I might need to talk about it again before we can do this. Can I call you with an answer?"

"Absolutely. I'll be here. And if I'm not, I'll have the phone with me."

She nods. "I should be getting back. Thanks, Isabel."

She nods again, and leaves the door open again when she walks out.
