A Christmas Tale was playing on the TV as Isabel took advantage of her night off to finish wrapping the small mountain of gifts she'd gotten for all her family and friends in Roswell. She was really, really glad that Wyatt would be orbing them home on Christmas Eve because otherwise the excess baggage fees would have been insane.

Eggnog and Christmas cookies within reach, Isabel was one happy Christms Nazi.

"Not that kind of frosting, you pervert," Wyatt said, utterly shocked.

But if he could slip a few anatomically correct gingerbread men in there....

"Good because that stuff is nasty," she replied. "Now the melted chocolate that I'll be using for the truffles...that's tasty."

Really Isabel, it's not nice to taunt your boyfriend before Christmas.

"Never heard you complain before," Wyatt said, though his mind was working on other uses for the melted chocolate, oh yes.

"I was distracted and otherwise focused." Said with a perfectly straight face.

"You really know how to hurt a guy," Wyatt said, clutching at his heart.

"But I'll kiss you and make it better?" Isabel offered.

Wrapping? What wrapping?

"Promise?" Wyatt said, tugging her into his arms.

"Kisses and snuggling on the couch by the twinkling lights of the Christmas tree?" she asked, wrapping her arms around Wyatt's waist. "Sure, I can promise that. We should take advantage of the quiet while we can. You know the guys are going to try and abduct you as soon as we get to my folks."

"Nothing can take me away from y-- oh, X-Box," Wyatt said, his eyes glazing over. "You think they've got the Kinect yet?"

He was such a dork. Isabel was so going to regret one particular Christmas gift. "Not that I know of. But you never know what Santa will leave you under the tree on Christmas morning."
