33 Apocolypse Ave, Late Wednesday afternoon

Isabel had returned from the Reserve meeting and was talking things over with Wyatt when suddenly he'd orbed away.

And left her behind.

She was going to kill him when he got back. But until that happened, Isabel was going to pace the living room and worry.

"I'm twice-blessed," Wyatt said, more cocky than angry now. "Nothing can hurt me."

"Maybe. Maybe not. But I'm not willing to take a chance and find out that there's a limit to how blessed you are."

Wyatt had gotten cocky, Isabel was just sad.

"Savannah's here on the island now. Can you promise me that you won't go off out there," Isabel asked with a wave of her hand to encompass the rest of the multiverse, "Please?"

"I'm not planning on it," Wyatt said. "But if somebody needs me...."

Phoebe and Anders had Bel. But if somebody like Parker needed his help getting to the island, he couldn't refuse.

"You'll go. Because it's what you do." For the first time Isabel hated that Wyatt was a Whitelighter. It was the first time only because Wyatt had managed to skip the Halliwell tradition of dying so far.

There was no solution that would make them both happy. Not that it was even possible to be happy when they'd lost so much. Arguing wasn't worth it Isabel realized.

She reached out slowly, needing contact.

Wyatt pulled her into his arms and squeezed her tightly against him. "I'm sorry," he murmured. "I didn't want to scare you."

Isabel didn't say anything, but the occasional shake of her shoulders and the wet spot that started to grow on Wyatt's shoulder spoke for her.
