Room 406, very, very, early Saturday morning

Morning light was only just starting to shine through the window when Isabel woke up. The first thought that crossed her mind was dorm room? This was followed by a succession of feelings, warm, nice, comfy. Then the memories of the night before started to replay themselves and she whimpered.

"She won't kill you," he reassured her. "I think that only happens if you hug her twice."

Isabel mumbled something he didn't catch, and he felt her relax as she drifted off. Settling her more comfortably against him, he watched her for several minutes, feeling the tiniest bit unsettled, but it was outweighed by the warmth that had swept through him at her words.

He closed his eyes and let himself return to sleep.
