Meerkat Cabin, Isabel's Alcove, After lunch

After lunch Isabel faced the fact that packing couldn't be put off any longer. Her bag was open on her bed as she sorted through her clothes.

Molly sighed. "And I thought just hiding from the authorities back home was bad. At least I didn't have to keep secrets from my friends."

And that was only one small part of the secrets she was keeping Isabel thought, remembering of what she'd read in Special Collections. "I don't like doing it. But right now? It's for the best."

"Well, I hope your trip isn't too stressful and that you have fun with your family and friends," Molly said. "I should let you get back to packing. I'm sorry you'll miss any pranking that goes on." She grinned.

"It should. Just from emailing and talking to everyone back there it seems quiet. I'm planning on spending the week sitting next to the pool." Isabel raised an eyebrow, "Is there pranking planned? I knew it had been too quiet."

Molly looked around to make sure no one could overhear. "Mostly I'm trying to keep the Stickbugs from pranking us," she said quietly. "I think everyone has agreed to work together, but no plans have come up yet. To be honest, I won't mind if nothing happens."

"Quiet wouldn't be a bad thing," Isabel agreed. "But somehow I can't see the guys agreeing with that. So I'm sure I'll miss some sort of prank or another."

"We'll take pictures," Molly assured her with a nod.

"I'm bringing my laptop so I can keep up with the radio podcasts. Feel free to email me with pictures of anything fun," she said. "Particularly if it winds up involving Gregette, Petra or Johnina."

Molly laughed. "I will definitely do that," she said with a nod then stepped forward to give Isabel another hug. "Bye, Isabel. We'll miss you."

"I'll miss you guys to," Isabel said, returning the hug. "More then you know. Be ready to celebrate when I get back."

"If you'll be back on that Saturday, we can try and plan something for our last night in the cabins," Molly said. "It'll be a lot of fun. But, you have packing to do, so I'm going to leave you to that. Bye, Isabel."

"Bye Molly!" Isabel said and then returned to her packing, still trying to figure out how to fit it all in the one bag.
