Room 406, Late Afternoon

For a Monday, it had been an incredible day. It's true that cake baking was less then successful, still the frosting was tasty and she'd had a good conversation with Molly. Then there was skywriting, which probably ranks as the best surprise in quite a while, maybe ever.

Considering it was still fairly early in the day, it could only get better. Still smiling, she opened the door to her room.

"I'm oddly jealous of the chocolate chips. So? Still no hair gel?" she asked as her fingers started repeating their travels from the night before.

"Sadly, no," he said, leaning over to kiss her neck. "It's very depressing."

"Awww... What can I do to cheer you up?" Turning her head and gently biting his earlobe seemed like a good place to start, so Isabel did just that.

"Oh, any number of things," Greg whispered, winding his hands in her hair. "Be creative."

"Like this?" she murmured, kissing her way down his neck.

"That's creative," Greg agreed softly. "You get a gold star."

"I'm an overachiever," Isabel said in between kisses. "I want another one." Her hands drifted to Greg's waist, sliding under the hem of his t-shirt and lightly brushing against his skin.

"You get two," he told her, nipping at her ear and gently sliding his thumbs under her shirt to touch her lower back.

"Yay," she whispered, arching her back at his touch. "It feels nice."

"Gold star for me?" he asked, tracing his fingertips over her lower back. "Or am I only ranking in the silver?"

"Forget gold. You get platinum." And then she forgot about talking, focusing instead on kissing him soundly.
