"Isabel, you should've told me," Parker sighed. "I would've understood if you weren't at a hundred percent for another rescue, you know. And I can tell you from experience I already know how the *next* conversation you had with Greg went." She took a bite of cheesecake and rolled her eyes. "How mad was he?"
