Room 406, Late Monday Afternoon

After Interstellar Relations, Isabel returned to her room, booted up the laptop and started to surf through political blogs in preparation for Wednesday's Political Campaigning class. Occasionally she needed to move Annie when she tried to curl up on the laptop keyboard.

The door was open.

"Just about everyone I dated in Roswell was like that," Isabel snorted. "I kept dating football players, or basketball players. The popular guys. Because that's what a perfectly normal, pretty blonde girl was supposed to do. Do you know how many insteps I had to slam my heel into?"

Parker made a face. "Probably as many as I spiked the summer I interned at the Centre, before everyone realized whose daughter I was. Idiots. And yeah. One more advantage of dating a dork." This time the smile was wicked and without worry. "They tend to concentrate really, really well."

They've spent enough time being distracted that Isabel knows exactly how well Greg can concentrate. She grinned, "He can be rather focused when he wants to be."
