Room 406, Later in the evening

Isabel has been keeping busy. Library yesterday, checking up on Parker last night, talking to Buffy about quitting cheerleading today, and then dress shopping with Dawn and Alanna, Lavender and Aeryn. When she finally made it back to her room, she showered and dressed in her comfy pjs before pulling out something mindless to read while Annie stalked a small rubber ball around the room.

The door was open.

Bel, carrying a small bag, paused at the door and knocked on the doorframe.

"Hey!" she grinned. "What's up?"

"I wanted to ask you a favor," Bel said. "See if you could so something with your alien mojo."

"Sure. What do you need? A dye job?" Isabel asked, raising an eyebrow. "Because I really can't see you as a blonde. And I don't think Phoebe would appreciate you with pink or blue hair for Homecoming."

Bel blinked. "No. No. Not me. Not my hair. Something else." He reached into the bag and pulled out a pair of women's shoes.

"You want me to try and stretch them to fit you?" It's late, she's been busy. Isabel's just not getting it. "It's definitely a different look for you."

"No!" Bel said emphatically. "They're Phoebe's!"

"Okay, it's making a little more sense now," she giggled. "What color would she like them?"

"I want them to be made out of glass," Bel said, smiling a little.

"Awwww!!!! That's so sweet!"

"I want to do this whole Cinderella thing for Phoebe for Homecoming," Bel explained, grinning goofily. "I was having trouble finding glass slippers, though, but then I thought of you and what you can do."

"That is just too sweet Prince Charming," Isabel grinned. She took the shoes and studied them for a few minutes. "I've never tried to do anything quite like this. But I suppose I can give it a shot." Finally she put her hand on them and concentrated. "Here," she said finally, holding them out to Bel. "They're not quite glass. I was going for something like lucite. It's lighter and safer."

"They're perfect," Bel said happily. "Thank you. I totally owe you."

"Don't worry about it. I'm glad I was able to help," she smiled. "She's going to love them."

"I'm borrowing Old Man from Pippi," Bel said. "And Willow's working on a spell for me to turn a pumpkin into a coach. Hopefully it'll work."

"Awww....that's too sweet! And romantic! And perfect!" She's gushing. It's late, she's tired and a romantic. It happens.

"Cinderella's like her favorite story," Bel said. "And I wanted this to be a night she'll always remember."

"Well if we're judging strictly by romantic gestures, she will," Isabel grinned. "That's great that you've put so much thought into it."

"She's been through a lot lately so I wanted to do something special," Bel said. He frowned a little. "I just wish I didn't have detention on Saturday. I'm gonna miss all the non-dance stuff."

"How's she doing? Did she come back?" she asked. "Well all the official Homecoming stuff is Friday. There's nothing organized that I know of on Saturday, so you won't be missing too much while you're in detention. Unlike me who will be AFK all day Saturday until Sunday afternoon!"

"Yeah, she came back Monday," Bel said. "She's still a little freaked out but she's good. And, good, I was worried I was gonna miss something on Saturday. Wish I could sleep in at least. I'll be busy all Friday setting things up, and I gotta shimmer to California to get Veronica, too."

"Good, I'm glad for you. I think Saturday is just going to be for people to hang out and catch up. So you'll be fine. Just tired if you're up to late." Isabel grinned. "She's coming here for the booty call this time?"

"Yeah, hopefully there'll still be time to hang out with Piper and Lindsey," he said. "Veronica'll be too busy, no doubt." He smirked a little. "Bel's Booty Call Taxi, at your service."

"You can always go bug my boyfriend at Caritas on Saturday night," Isabel pointed out.

"I may be too busy making Piper make me brownies," Bel snickered. "But maybe I can drag her and Linds with me and Phoebe to Caritas or something."

"You've missed Piper's cooking?" she laughed. "I'll be sure to drop something by the next time I cook."

"Worst part of graduation," Bel said wistfully. "She makes the best brownies. I think I've missed them more than anything."

"They're pretty tasty," Isabel agreed. "We made them in baking during the workshops." She didn't add that she still liked her recipe for double chocolate chip brownies better.

"I'm willing to audition replacements for my personal chef," Bel said, winking.

Isabel snickered. "I promise, I'll bring some by." Then she yawned because the wee kidlet had her up for the day at 4:30 a.m..

"I'll let you get to bed," Bel said because his mun had to crawl into bed soon as well. He picked up the shoes. "Thanks again. These are great."

"The only payment I ask is that you save me a dance okay?" she smiled. "Night!" *tucks you in*

"I think I can do that," Bel said. "G'night -- see you in Ethics tomorrow." He grinned at her and headed out the door.
