Room 406, afternoon

After a Thursday that included finals, playing Santa with Jarod at the Perk, delivering presents to Parker, and then running the coffee cart, Isabel was ready for a quiet day.

The door's open and Isabel is sprawled on her bed watching the few Christmas movies they didn't get to watch last night.

"A good luck pig?" Peter asked with a smile on his face. "A good luck pig. I could probably use good luck, even from a pig. Thank you."

"You're welcome. And back at you of course," she grinned. "I hope you have a nice peaceful Christmas with your aunt."

"And you have a very merry Christmas here," Peter said. He stepped over and gave Isabel a hug. "Don't get invaded."

"If there's an invasion? I'm going back to bed and sleeping through it," Isabel said, returning the hug happily. "Also, I owe you an apology."

"You do?" Peter asked. "Why?"

Isabel pointed to the pile of presents she still needed to give people. "I've got several presents for Greg. I'm pretty sure you're going to hate one of them. So I'm apologizing in advance."

"You're a terrible best friend," Peter said, glaring at the pile.

"But I'm a very good girlfriend!" she replied. "It's hard to find the balance when the two of you live together!"

"Excuses, excuses," Peter said. "How bad will it be for me?"

"Once the initial thrill wears off? Probably just an occasional annoyance," Isabel laughed. "As long as you keep your eyes covered, you shouldn't have to worry about injuries."

"You're frightening me," Peter said. "I'll be sure to wear goggles at all times."

"I really am sorry. I just saw it, and knew he had to have it," she shrugged sheepishly.

"You'll pay for this, Evans. You'll pay for it," Peter said. "But until then, I have to finish wrapping gifts for other people, so I should get going. Have a very good Christmas, okay?"

"Definitely," Peter said. He gave a wave and headed back to his room.
