Disneyland, all day

Isabel had tried to be mature and blase about going to Disney. But by the time they'd gotten their tickets, gotten into the park and were standing on Main Street, she was pretty much bouncing with excitement. "Okay, where do you want to go first?"

Parker leaned back against one of the guide-rails, and put her shades on top of her head. "What else have you guys done since you got here? I'm hitting Venice Beach tonight for Thai food later, but is there other stuff I shouldn't miss?" She tilted her head, and nodded at the sweater comment.

"We hung out and talked to people -- and do you know what's up with Cal? -- yesterday morning," Angela said. "And then we went to lunch with Cam Mitchell and Veronica Mars." Her ears blushed pink. "V and I kind of, um, made out to get the boys to wear eyeliner."

Parker nodded along with this, then chuckled. "Ohhh my god. Have they done it? Did you get photos? Is V a good kisser?" She snickered, then calmed down a bit. "Cal's forgotten who she is, who we are-- and she said Logan said she hit her head." She pulled her shades back down. "I have my doubts it's that simple."

"She said Logan was nice," Angela said, keeping the volume low in case he was listening. "Very not-Cal. Angel thinks it's a trap."

Her ears turned pinker. "We're going to drag them to karaoke tomorrow," she said. "I think Cam captured Veronica -- who is a very good kisser -- and me on his phone's camera. I have this fear that the pictures will be all over campus when we get back."

"That's very very not Cal. Angel's paranoid. It's a stupid kind of trap, after all, she sleeps in the same building day after day; why do this?" Parker shook her head. "Even easier to get them on a job. No. Either she's had a breakdown, or maybe something else is going on. Too soon to be absolutely sure..." She glared at Logan from behind her shades.

"Yay, karaoke! It's sad how fond I've gotten of it. And the photos-everywhere is a valid fear. Although if you asked Cam, he *might* not spread them around. He's that much of a gentleman." Parker grinned. "Did Marty appreciate it?"

"Yeah, it's weird," Angela agreed. "And this isn't a fun thought? But she could kill Angel anytime if she really wanted to. So I think you're right, something very weird is going on."

She grinned. "I think Marty did. He couldn't really talk for a couple hours."

"I have some questions to ask Angel when we get back, or when he shows up. EIther way, she's got to be back to normal before we leave, or I think we'll have to take her with us-- Angel and Logan can barely take care of Sean, never mind an amnesiac 3,000 year-old Greek girl." Parker made a face. "I just hope she's ... reasonable, when she snaps out of it."

She snickered at the idea of Marty going goofy over the girlkissy, then looked wistful for a second, remembering Chloe and the kissing booth, and Jarod's reaction to that. "Cool. Yay for keeping him on his toes."

"Could we drag her back to Fandom?" Angela was curious. "You know they're kind of strict on the no-townies-in-the-dorms thing, and ... okay, maybe she could teach again?"

She shrugged. "Let me know what Angel says. Oh, hey, were you going to do something with Eric?"

"Yeah, I know." Parker looked glum. "And what could she teach like this? Dress making? No, you're not wrong, we'd have to have some idea how to fix it, or send her back to Thrace, and find Widow Twanky. But that's the extreme case, I hope." She blinked at the name Eric, then nodded. "Right, yes, Weiss. He was saying there's good Thai near Venice Beach. You guys are welcome to come with, if you're hungry by then too."

"Perkiness?" Angela suggested. "Maybe it's like a gremlin bite and it will just wear off."

"Weiss," she corrected herself. "If OOC stuff works out We'd love to come, if it wouldn't be weird."

Parker made a face. "Not that some emo people couldn't benefit from a course like that, but... yeah. I'm hoping it wears off." Then she blinked. "No, it wouldn't be weird. It's not a date." She rolled her eyes. "And Harper took off for the future. I am dateless. Zero says I can't enter a monastery."

Angela choked on her bottle of water. "I hadn't seen Zero here," she said, while she got her composure. "And no -- did you mean monasteries or nunneries? Either one, bad."

"Zero called last night, she was avoiding diaper-changing, but she's having a good time otherwise. Her family is so cool." Parker grinned. "And come on! Me in a nunnery?" She paused. "Although I might as well be in one at this point. But a monastery, with some monks making ambrosia? If they had young cute monks? Sign me up. I can repent later."

She gave Parker a confused look. "I didn't know they still had cute monks. What would you do, be a maid?"

"Getting bigger, and cuter, and more aggressive, it sounded like. Especially BB." She snickered. "No, no maiding. But.. I don't know. I'm just out of ideas. They could take me in as a student?" She rolled her eyes. "Leave me my pathetic fantasies, please."

Angela giggled. "Sorry, I'm just trying to imagine you studying monkly ways."

She considered. "So getting an apartment and about 15 cats and growing old alone isn't an option?"

Parker tried to picture it, and ended up snickering too. "And no! A palazzo in Rome, and maybe one cat, and three or four chauffeur types. They might eat more, but they wouldn't try to sleep on my computer keyboard. Or wake me up at six a.m. without a *really* good reason."

"Mmmm. Rome's lovely. Maybe we can talk StuCo into a Spring Break there, this semester?" Parker looked thoughtful. "Or Florence or Venice... Something like that. Although I was thinking somewhere hotter, this year." The line advanced a few more paces, and Parker craned her neck to see how much longer they'd be waiting. "Somewhere like Barbados."
