Room 406, Evening

Despite the afternoon's silliness with Dawn and Jack, when evening rolled around Isabel really wasn't in the mood for dealing with people and crowded common rooms. There were too many thoughts going through her head. Worries about what was happening in a room down the hall, worries about why Jack reacted the way he did.

It was easier to pull inward. Which was why Isabel was sitting on the bed in her room attempting to figure out a sudoku puzzle.

[The door's closed but the post is open]

Surprisingly enough, there are times when even *Bridge* isn't a people-person either. Well, okay, he's still a people-person. But not a large-amounts-of-people person. So that's why Bridge is knocking on Isabel's door right now.

"It's open!" Isabel called out, setting the puzzle aside.

Bridge opens the door and bounces in.

"Hey, Isabel," he says with a grin.

Unable to resist the bouncing, Isabel smiled. "Bridge! Hi! How are you!"

[identity profile] bridge-carson.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
"Kind of bored," Bridge says with a shrug. "But there's only so much hi-my-name-is, have-you-heard-about-the-gremlins I can take," he admits. "So I'm avoiding the lobby and any common rooms right now."

[identity profile] izzyalienqueen.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 01:26 am (UTC)(link)
"Then you've come to the right spot. New people are great, yeah. But the warnings get old after awhile," she agreed. "I planned on hibernating this evening." Isabel motioned to some of the brownies she'd stolen from Jack. "Want a brownie?"

[identity profile] bridge-carson.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
"I never turn down food," Bridge grins. "Mind some company for your hibernation, then?"

[identity profile] izzyalienqueen.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
"No, not at all," Isabel grinned, sliding backwards on the bed and leaving plenty of room if Bridge wanted to sit. "So what have you been up to for break? Besides LA that is, since I'm almost positive I saw you there on New Year's."

[identity profile] bridge-carson.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah, that was..." Bridge winces a bit as he sits down on the bed. "Interesting," he finally settles on to describe the events of New Years.

[identity profile] izzyalienqueen.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm sure. Poor Cal," she said. "I felt so bad for her."

[identity profile] bridge-carson.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah," Bridge agrees. It's kind of an understatement, considering he'd actually felt everything *she* had as her memories returned. "I don't understand why someone would do that."

[identity profile] izzyalienqueen.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
"Because they're an idiot," Isabel sighed.

[identity profile] bridge-carson.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
"No argument here," Bridge grumbles.

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
Peter walked up to Isabel's closed door and went back to his room. A few minutes later, he walked back up and slid a note under the door in such a way that he created some noise.

[identity profile] izzyalienqueen.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
Isabel picked up the paper tentatively. It was Fandom after all, and you could never be too careful. Then she opened it, laughed, and opened the door. "Hey!"

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
Peter pointed both thumbs at himself and said, "This guy!"

[identity profile] izzyalienqueen.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 02:38 am (UTC)(link)
"No! Really?" she asked with mock amazement. "Come in, I have brownies!"

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
"Not only does my plan work, but I get brownies," Peter said, walking in. "It's a good night."

[identity profile] izzyalienqueen.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 02:51 am (UTC)(link)
"A very good night," Isabel agreed. "Are you avoiding the invasion of newbies as well?"

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
"Nah. The only thing I'm avoiding is my new room," Peter said.

[identity profile] izzyalienqueen.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
"New room?" she asked, surprised. "Did Greg finally mix one foul smelling chemical concoction too many?"

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
"No, it actually came as a complete surprise to me," Peter said. "Then I checked out my new room and in the desk there was a note from Charlie. He signed me up for a room transfer."

[identity profile] izzyalienqueen.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 03:08 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh that's wicked," Isabel chuckled. "I fear the payback." She pulled back the foil covering the brownies. "Brownie?"

[identity profile] peter--parker.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
"No payback. He got a free prank for his birthday. He left the card I gave him in the drawer, too," Peter said. "My hands are tied. But they're loose enough to take a brownie." He did so.

[identity profile] izzyalienqueen.livejournal.com 2007-01-07 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
""Brownies are good. Dawn and I baked a bunch for Jack today. Then we went down and made animal noises at him," she grinned. "He was amused."
