Isabel watched the island approach through the cab window her thoughts drifting towards the past as the future loomed in front of her.

Max was furious that she'd left. He was so caught up in the search for the truth about their past that he couldn't see or seem to understand that it didn't matter to her.

All she wanted was to be normal. Maybe here, where there were no alien conspiracies, no suspicious sheriffs watching her, no Special Unit of the FBI, no destiny, maybe here she’d get a fresh start.


She paid the cab driver as he let her off in the parking lot. Loading her duffle bag over her shoulder and towing her suitcase, she headed towards the school.

Bwahahaaha!!!! Poor Jack. Isabel wouldn't be opposed to something at some point. While inside she's pretty nice and very vulnerable, she has an image to protect/maintain. Showing up somewhere with eye candy would suit that image perfectly. As for anything more then that, just remember that she's an alien and at this point in canon still isn't sure there won't be issues involving sex.

BTW, I'm not sure Vala's mun told you, but I've been following along for months. And I adore your Jack. Especially when you whomp on him. ]]
