Platypus B2, Evening

As always, Monday was busy. Isabel flipped through a selection of DVDs, trying to figure out what to watch for the night.

"Cool." Parker closed her eyes. "Some things are just inevitable. Jarod leaving Fandom was one of them. I know you'll miss him, though." She sighed. "Any word from Jack?"

"I will. Just like I miss you. And Jack," she said quietly. "No word. Although I mailed him a letter."

"You did? Where did you send it to?" Parker asked, sitting up in bed, and concealing a yawn.

"Katara told me the post office is inter-dimensional and that it has ways of delivering things," Isabel explained. "So I wrote him a letter and addressed it care of the Time Agency, 51st century. Who knows, maybe he'll get it."

If they were letting him get mail. "I hope it gets there. Let me know if he writes back?" Hope still springs eternal, after all. Parker yawned again, this time unable to conceal it.

"Me to. And if he does? You'll hear the shouts of glee in Moscow. I promise." Isabel heard the yawn and smiled. "Go to bed Parker!"

"Ohhh, fine, be all responsible. Tell people to call me. And not wake me up!" Parker yawned again, then chuckled. "And remember about Karal. I'll talk to you later, Isabel. Miss you."

"Miss you to Parker. Miss you to. Sleep well." Smiling, Isabel waited till Parker disconnected, then closed her phone.
