Room 406, evening

After a weekend of fun and a surprisingly deep conversation, Monday brought workshops of insanity and brain-breaking. Isabel was still chuckling when she returned to her room after workshops. With nothing pressing to do, Isabel opened her laptop and started to search for some decent Supers fanfic.

"Isn't he? I had a choice between one that was soft and snuggly or one that was ferocious and roared. I went for cuddly." Isabel shrugged, smiling back at him. "It made you smile. That's all I wanted."

"It did," he said and even hugged Kong. "He's very ferocious in his own way."

"Yeah, he'll snuggle you to death," she laughed. "But at least he won't lick you."

"No, that's for you to do," he teased.

Isabel sighed, "You're never going to let me forget that are you?"

"You know me too well," he said and grinned widely. "At least it wasn't about my wand?"

Certain words made a connection in Isabel's brain. Eyes wide, she clapped her hands over her mouth and fell over on the bed laughing hysterically.

"Exactly my reaction!" Cedric said, laughing himself. "I don't know how I would've explained that message should I have gotten it."

"Explained it to who?" she asked, still laughing.

"Puff, of course," he said, nodding solemnly. "He listens to me talk all the time."

"But he's still not answering back?" Isabel chuckled, finally sitting back up.

"Not yet," Cedric said, shrugging. "Perhaps he's just waiting for the precise moment to say something profound."

"He'll start lecturing on the mysteries of the universe," she nodded. "One morning when you least expect it."

"He will be my Puff and we will rule the world together!" Cedric said, shaking too fists in the air.

Isabel grinned, "Can I be a loyal minion? Please?"

"Of course!" He waved a hand and tapped her on the shoulder. "I dub thee, Loyal Minion Number 1!"

"Can it be my responsibility to look after the baby?" she asked, snickering a bit.

"That's a rather large responsibility," he said mock seriously. "Are you sure you're ready for it?"

"I should be asking you," Isabel replied. "You're the pregnant grandson."

He stared for a moment before saying, "Did you have a class with Jerry and Jerry?"

"Professor Lyman had them in as the special guests in my workshop today," she nodded. "It was sort of a final exam in dealing with stupid people."

"And the mentioned me?"

"I heard them mention their pregnant grandson Brick to someone," Isabel chuckled. "I wondered why you hadn't told me about this miraculous event."

"Probably because I was unaware of it myself until just now," he said and laughed.

"So I'll have to arrange a baby shower then." She held out a hand towards her desk and a notebook floated over. "Do you think it's a boy or a girl?"
