Room 406, Evening
Jul. 7th, 2007 08:42 pmIsabel had remembered how it was when she first came back to Fandom and she wanted to give Jack time. So she spent Friday helping Charlie, saying good-bye to Zero, and then going to dinner with Peter. This morning she'd gone for brunch and shopping with Parker. Eventually though, she'd had to go down to Jack's room. They'd talked but it had been uncomfortable and strange and Isabel wondered if it would ever be the same again.
The radio was playing but Isabel wasn't really paying attention.

Platypus Alcove B2, Evening
Jun. 3rd, 2007 08:11 pmIt hadn't been the trip to New York Isabel planned on. But when Zero said Peter was in trouble, she didn't think twice about going. Fortunately Steve Peter was understanding about the change in plans. They'd arrived in New York, rescued Peter, and unfortunately had to make a trip to the hospital. It was only after Peter insisted that he had everything under control that Isabel and Zero reluctantly returned to Fandom Sunday afternoon.
Sunday evening found Isabel slowly packing up, getting ready for the move back to the dorms.

Room 406, early evening
Mar. 22nd, 2007 03:06 pmSo the week hadn't been going too badly. Isabel had spent time with Cedric and Jack, contemplated a career as a jewel thief with Parker, signed a petition, hunted zombies and played at angels and demons.
Then she had a conversation.
Isabel sighed and stared at her phone. Talking to Greg only reminded her that she had yet to call her parents or anyone in Roswell. But she still had no idea what to say.
Looking for anything else to think about, she turned to Annie, giving her the barest smile as the cat stared at the sealed shut sock drawer in the dresser.
The door was open.

Room 406, afternoon through early evening
Jan. 22nd, 2007 10:14 amAfter returning from waking up with Cedric, Isabel made a few phone calls, then spent a few minutes fixing what she could of her door.
That done, she curled up on her bed and tried not to shudder as she remembered the weekend. Bel and Dawn, the offer of a threesome. Anders. The creature on the roof. Zero and her camera, a memory which prompted another phone call. Caritas with Greg. And Cedric. Going back to Cedric's room.
Isabel whimpered.
The door was as closed as a door minus a doorknob could be.

Dec. 20th, 2006 07:23 pmIsabel had reached the point where studying just wasn't happenening any longer. A quick phone call had Parker appearing, loaded down with gifts.
The door was open, the carols were playing, Annie was wearing a wee Santa hat and Parker and Isabel were laughing like demented elves as they ate chocolate and drank eggnog while waiting for people to come by so they could hand out holiday presents.
[Assume handwavey phone calls telling their friends to stop by!]

Dec. 10th, 2006 09:17 pmIsabel's a bit surprised she's still awake at this point. It had been a long weekend. Friday was insane and she's pretty certain that she'll never again be able to listen to The Night Before Christmas without twitching. Saturday had started off normally enough with some tree trimming. It got a little more surreal on the band trip. All the Galaxy Quest fans made her vaguely homesick for the Crash Festival. Entirely new levels of WTF were reached on the trip home, although for some reason the idea that Bigfoot was a fan of Teal Deer and a pretty good mechnic doesn't exactly surprise her. Maybe she's been in Fandom too long.
But things went downhill this morning when she went to the beach to meet Jack and Cedric and found out Cedric seemed to be missing. A search of the island hadn't turned up anything although they had ideas to follow up on tomorrow.
For now, she's wrapping Christmas presents and trying not to worry. It's not working.
The door's open.
