"Only from some standpoints," Parker said blithely. "And I like to think those are sad few are handicapped by not knowing me well enough." A pause, as she thought she heard a thud. "Isabel?" Nada. "Is-a-belllll..."

Still nothing, and possibly a squeak from far away. Parker rolled her eyes. "ISABEL!"

Muffled incomprehensible whatevers.

"CALL ME BACK!"

Parker hung up, then texted Isabel:

YOUR PHONE IS OFF THE HOOK, DOOFUS. CALL ME L8R. SAY HI TO LIGHTBULBBOY.
