Room 406, morning to early afternoon

After finally finding handwavily talking to Chris late yesterday, Isabel had finally gone back to her room.

Sleep wasn't an option for a lot of reasons.

Instead she grabbed her laptop and started to google.

It was amazing what you could find in some of the more obscure corners of the internet. Hours later she had pages of notes and print-outs. Of course since Isabel had pretty much no experience with magic, most of it was so much gibberish.

It was time to call in people who had a clue.

"There's got to be a magical way to get through the shield," Prue said. If a demon was the one who cursed it then it probably wouldn't be invulnerable to magic. Few things were.

She was quiet for a long moment and then looked at Prue.

"What about a sustained magical attack on the shield? I've had it work on other opponents before. If someone with enough power... or a tandem attack happens on magical shields, it's been shown to um... take them down..."

"That could work," Prue said, nodding. "And once the shield was down I bet a simple spell could break the curse."

"I have some spells I can use on it."

"And if you guys are taking care of the bear," Isabel said. "Someone's going to have to make sure that Wyatt doesn't get in the way. Which means someone's going to have to play bait to keep him occupied."

While Prue didn't like the idea of putting a kid in danger at all she couldn't think of any other way to get around it. If Wyatt knew what was going on then he'd surely try to stop it from happening.

"It won't take too long," Prue promised.

Savannah didn't like Isabel being bait, but she also knew that she would have volunteered if the need had arose.

"You be careful," Savannah said quietly.

Wyatt had talked casually about killing her -- and this was before she had known anything to plot against him. If he realized that Isabel was...

"Do you think Johnny will watch my back?" Isabel asked. She wasn't dumb enough to try this on her own.

"Damn straight he would," Savannah said softly.

"Good," she nodded. "Then let's work out the details. I have a feeling timing is going to be everything with this."

"Tell me what you want me to do and when and I'll do it." She bit her lip. Well almost. She was in no hurry to fight Wyatt one on one again.

Isabel wasn't looking forward to it either. But if it meant that he'd get back to normal, then she'd do it.
