Room 406, all day

It hadn't been a bad last week in Fandom. Between being social, seals, presents, and reality TV, it was certainly memorable. Even if the good-byes weren't so much fun.

There wasn't much left to pack. But Isabel was taking her time doing it.

The door was open.

She grinned and reached out for a hug. "I didn't. Never would have guessed it either."

"I'd say I'm gonna miss you but after the 43rd panicked phone call about cufflink-size, you'd point out the irony. With something pointy. But I'm still gonna miss you."

"I'll miss you just as much," Isabel admitted. "It's not going to be the same now that I can't wander down for donuts on a Tuesday afternoon."

"Wyatt taxi service?" Xander suggested. "Not quite as shimmery as the old version, but..."

"Possibly. Back here or to where ever you guys wind up. He's going to have to go back soon isn't he?" Isabel asked.

"We'll be here for the rest of the summer, far as I know -- I've got the second project to get going for the grads -- but then... yeah." Xander nodded.

"Looks like I'll be spending lots of time in the future then," she observed. "Between you guys and Wyatt."

"I'm going to have temporal whiplash. But this time in a good way."
