UNLV, Tonopah Hall, Room 313 - evening

Her parents had left to make the trip back to Roswell, her roommate was off to start setting up her studio, and Isabel had finally finished hanging up pictures and posters in her new dorm room. Satisfied, and exhausted because late night Olympic watching was going to kill her, she sat down with her laptop to check out the list of theme camps at Burning Man.

Wyatt had fled the chaos gone off in search of take-out and now returned victoriously with Chinese. He poked his head cautiously into the room. "Is it safe to come back yet?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Isabel said, looking up from where she was reading about Sacred Space and the morning coffee enema. Which was a thought she immediately blocked from her mind.

"Just because we had my folks, the two of us and Sarah and her parents crammed into the room, you really didn't have to flee in terror. I thought you were tougher then that," she teased.

"I sensed imminent violence if one of the parental units made another helpful suggestion," Wyatt grinned, walking into the room and flopping down on Isabel's bed. If he had known what Isabel was looking at on the web, he very likely would've fled again.

Perhaps he'd prefer to hear about the theme camp with pole dancing?

"They meant well. And my folks never had a chance to help me get settled in Fandom," Isabel explained as she set the laptop aside. "So I was trying to cut them a little bit of slack. But adding Sarah's folks into the mix did make it a little too crazy. They're out to dinner now, so we have a little peace and quiet."

"Whatever shall we do to pass the time?" Wyatt asked.

Isabel was rather intrigued by that. Not that she'd admit it.

"Dinner for one," she replied. "Beyond that? Probably not what you're thinking. No traumatizing the roommate and her parents on the first day."

Wyatt made a pouty face. "Teenage boy," he said solemnly. "One track mind." He scooted closer to Isabel to try to peek at the laptop. "What are you looking at?" he asked.

"I happen to like that track," Isabel laughed, leaning down for a quick kiss. "I just want to explore it at some point when we wouldn't be interrupted. As for what I'm looking at, it's the list of the different camps at Black Rock next week. Some of them look...interesting to say the least."

"Black Rock?" Wyatt said. "What's that?" The name sounded familiar but he couldn't quite place it.

"It's some sort of alternative art thing out in the Nevada desert," she explained. "Parker and Zero went last year and she's pretty much talked me into going this year. Although it starts on Monday which is the first day of classes. So I might not head out till Wednesday night, if by some chance I could find someone willing to bring me there? Maybe?"

"Sure," Wyatt said. "But what exactly do you mean by 'interesting'?"

"It seems like there's a lot of places to drink and dance. But it's the themes of some of them that are a bit strange. For example," Isabel said, scrolling down the list of G's and picking one description to read. "There's the Get Nailed Salon. Who's goal is to add color to peoples lives through their nails. They know how grimey everyone's nails get out on the playa during Burning Man. They want to beautify hands throughout Black Rock City by offering nail painting."

Another ad caught her attention and Isabel began snickering. "Or there's always the Genital Portrait Studio. You could get your own ID card."

Wyatt blinked. "What?" he said. "You have got to be kidding me. If I wanted everyone to know what it looked like, I'd be walking around constantly without pants."

"I'm one hundred percent serious," she giggled. "And from what I've read? Walking around naked is a totally viable option while you're there."

"Reaaaaaally," Wyatt drawled. "Are you planning on giving that a try?"

Isabel's response was pretty much immediate. "Oh hell no. But you could do it. I mean, it's not like you haven't before."

"That wasn't on purpose!" Wyatt protested. "I didn't know how to orb then!"

"Much to the visual pleasure of how many residents of the dorms?" she teased.

"Parker, Jo, and Anders," Wyatt smirked. "I think Tannim was too groggy to get a good look, and Chris tried to make himself go blind."

"I could see Chris doing that," Isabel grinned. "Anders probably flailed, I'm willing to bet Jo appreciated the view, and I know that Parker did."

Wyatt preened, just a little. "I don't know," he said. "I thought maybe Anders might have a Halliwell fetish for awhile."

"Do I want to know why you thought that?" she wondered, tickling his side.

Wyatt rolled over to give Isabel more access if she so desired. "He totally hit on me," he claimed.

More access was always desired and Isabel quickly curled into Wyatt's side. "No way. I can't see him doing that. Not at all."

"He was totally convinced that I was batting for his team," Wyatt said, wrapping his arm around her. "Wait, no, he's on both teams. Or maybe he thought I was both, too. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm totally Isabelsexual."
