Roswell, New Mexico - Friday Night

The guys had disappeared for the evening and Isabel was pretty certain that they were having some sort of impromptu bachelor party. Ordinarily she'd be worried about what state they'd be in tomorrow for the wedding, but she figured between Max and Wyatt they'd be able to cure any hangovers.

The bachelorette party was a little more low-key. Liz was the bride after all. Wild and crazy was not her style. Instead they were sitting in the Evans' rec room with a stack of chick flicks and enough chocolate to feed an army. Isabel found she really couldn't complain as she settled in to watch the first movie with a plate full of chocolate truffles.

Even though she was hoping for a quiet night, Isabel had her phone just in case she got a call for bail money.

"Can I just say how glad I'm avoiding the awkward?" she laughed. "I know I'll have to face Chris eventually. But I'd rather wait till the memory fades a little more."

"Yeah," Isabel grumbled. "And the icing on the awkward cake? Wyatt and Summer. It was one hell of a weekend."

"Yeeeeah as much as I would've loved to see you guys? I think I was better off in Newtech. Where the only person I slept with was the one I'm married to."

"Well if you want to be technical about it, we were sleeping with our respective spouses. IN BIZARRO WORLD!" Yes, it's quite possible Isabel was still a little bit flaily about Homecoming.

"At least it's, like, equally awkward?" Bridge tries. "I mean, no one did anything any worse than anyone else. And besides, you were all under the influence anyway."

"That's our story and wer're sticking to it," Isabel replied. "It's just easier to stick to here in Roswell. But I do miss you guys. A lot."

"You could come visit, sometime," Bridge suggests. "Especially now that thanks to an unexpected Alanna, we know we wouldn't get in trouble for having guests over in our quarters for a few days."

"She dropped in on you to?" she grinned into the phone. "She turned up in Vegas. I took her out to play tourist and we wound up in the midst of a alien tiger cub kidnapping."

"Alien tiger cub?" Bridge echoes. "Seriously?"

"The tiger cub was normal," she clarified. "Aliens wanted to tiger nap it."

"Oh," Bridge says. "Though you of all people should know that aliens are normal *too*. Just, you know. Different planet normal!" He pauses for a moment, "though baby-animal kidnapping is totally un-normal."

"I'm sorry but Helmut and Dieter Siegfried and Roy are not normal by any standards," Isabel laughed. "The aliens did turn out to be nice, if a bit dorky. And Helmut and Dieter were happy to loan them a cub."
