After getting a few more hours of sleep, Isabel spent the day working on her campaign poster. Finally pleased with the results, she took a walk through the dorm and put them in every common room and on every bulletin board.

Once she finished, she returned to her room to get started on the reading for Western Literature.
[occ: Much thanks and adoration to
courier_gavin for creating Isabel's poster on short notice. Thanks again!]

She took another bite of doughnut, grumbling when a gob of Tabasco-laced jelly squeezed out and fell on her pants. "Can you hand me a napkin please?"

Date: 2006-01-09 04:00 pm (UTC)"Shop sounded interesting. But I like to sleep in when I can. I have to get early on Tuesdays and Thursdays for Speech 201, during second period. That's enough for me." She smiled and carefully took another bite of doughnut.

Date: 2006-01-09 04:13 pm (UTC)He shrugged. "Yeah, normally I'd be all for me and morning coming into as little contact as possible," Xander answered, "But Shop seemed like something I might actually be able to use after I graduate - and I'd heard people had a lot of fun with it last semester."

Date: 2006-01-09 06:36 pm (UTC)She ate the last bite of doughnut and then wiped her fingers on the paper towel. "The only two I don't know about are History 101 and History of Art."

Ten seconds later she held up a sketch of two stick people. "This is the limit of my art skills. So I think we're both in the same boat."

Xander licked at a bit of cream on one finger. "Which would be Lee Adama, apparently."

Date: 2006-01-09 08:08 pm (UTC)And read how Jack Harkness is a good kisser as agreed to by half the school. I wouldn't want to give him a hard time or anything. The only couple I've heard of is Lana and Shep. But if the guys around here are dating scary women, it's probably good information to know."Isabel got up off the bed and headed towards her dresser. "Who's Lee Adama and why does he wear women's underwear?" she asked.

Reaching into her dresser drawer she pulled out pair of pajamas and handed towards the bathroom. "I should probably call it a night soon."

Between my brother and his friend who practically lived at our house, I never knew who I was going to run into in the hallway. I never expected I would have the same problem in my dorm room." Shaking her head, she closed the door.
[occ: I think that's a good spot to leave it for now. And can I say how amusing the shop class is?]

Date: 2006-01-09 11:17 pm (UTC)Completely off topic, but what is the acceptable font size for ooc comments? Would 2 be okay? 1 makes me squint too much.]
no subject
Date: 2006-01-09 11:41 pm (UTC)'small' is probably defaulting to 1 for me, but I also read LJ comment pages in style=mine so I'm reading everything in arial, which means I'm probably not squinting quite as much as you might be with the serif font on this LJ style *grin*
But I can put OOC comments in regular font size - aka not tag them at all except for brackets - when we're trading comments. The smallness is mostly to keep them out of other people's way, vs. me caring about the size that I'm reading.
In terms of the game? I don't think there's any set preference - some eople just started making ooc comments small as well as bracketed. And there's still no standardization with what kind and how many brackets people use!}

Date: 2006-01-10 09:10 am (UTC)BTW, given the events on the beach tonight, Isabel is going to be a bit emo tomorrow. So it's probably not the best time to talk about her twin with her. She knows about it. But she's got way too much else on her mind with OMG! Angel figuring out she's an alien.
And speaking of OMG! It's 4 in the morning and I can't believe I am WIDE awake. *headdesks*]
