Las Vegas, Saturday morning

For a change, fortune had smiled on Isabel's weekend plans. She had only a little bit of classwork to do, she didn't have to work until Monday evening, and for once the demon population of a future version of San Francisco had decided to lay low for a while which meant Wyatt was sprawled next to her for snuggling purposes.

Sleepily, Isabel contemplated the clock, decided it was too early for coffee and rolled back over to go to sleep. There was a quiet weekend to look forward to.

She had no idea what was happening in Fandom.

"Mmmph," Isabel replied in complete agreement. She burrowed a little closer because there was nothing better then a warm, Wyatt-shaped teddy bear.

"Can we just stay in bed all weekend?" Wyatt said sleepily. "Except for food. We can just order in."

"Plan. Good plan," she smiled. "Except the bagel place doesn't deliver."

Not that bagels were what Isabel felt like nibbling on at the moment.

"Maybe if we offered a really big tip?" Wyatt yawned.

Or he could orb to get some. But that would require putting on pants, which he didn't want to do at the moment.

No pants. Pants would interfere with Isabel's plans for the next little while. The hell with it, there were frozen waffles in the refrigerator.

She didn't resist in the least. "We might starve, but we'll be happy while we do it."

Pushing her hair back, Isabel grinned down at Wyatt. "Good morning."

Well aware of exactly how awake those parts were, Isabel dropped a line of kisses along Wyatt's collarbone as she slowly shifted her body lower.

And then the phone rang with Ronan's ringtone. "Dammit."

As much as she wanted to ignore it, she knew if he was calling this early it had to be important.

After TKing the phone to her hand, Isabel answered the call.

"It's the day after prom," Ronan said. Isabel could probably hear the grin in his voice, yes. "Do you know where your children are?"

Isabel's mind was still a little focused on her activities prior to answering the phone, plus she hadn't had her coffee yet. It took her a few seconds to go from wondering why she should care about prom and what children Ronan was talking about to grinning wildly. Oh! Those children!!!

"Victoria? Or some random surprise child from Special Collections?"

"Victoria," Ronan confirmed. "And Cdid I ever mention Peach? He's mine and Carmela's, he showed up again this year."

Beat.

"And Pandora, who is my daughter with Hercules, apparently."

Beat. Beat.

"And don't tell Wyatt -- I want that privilege -- but Caled's here again, too."

"Had it underway before the kids even started showing up," Ronan admitted. "Hey, I've been here before. I know what happens after prom."

Wyatt had been fully prepared to nuzzle Isabel's shoulder to distract her from the interrupting phone call, but he perked up at the mention of Victoria. "Victoria's in Fandom?" he said, close enough to the phone that Ronan would hear it.

Isabel nodded and snuck a quick kiss. "Yeah well remember, the last time we saw her was in August, three years ago. Prom didn't matter any more."

"We'll be there as soon as we get cleaned up and dressed."
