Newtech City, Tuesday all day

When you're pregnant with a half-alien, half witch/Whitelighter baby, regular prenatal care just wasn't going to cut it. Which was why Isabel and Wyatt had been making regular trips to the more alien friendly future for the last nine months.

But now the big day was here and Miss Victoria Maureen Halliwell was ready to make her appearance.

Meet Victoria Maureen Halliwell!!!

"She's gorgeous," Savannah told her adopted siblings when she saw Victoria. "It's good to see her so small and relaxed."

"For now," Isabel grinned, cuddling the baby close. "But I'm sure she'll be willing to demonstrate her lung power at some point soon."

"Do you want to hold her?"

Savannah grinned at her. "Of course I want to hold her. Have to introduce myself to my niece, right?"

"Well come here and take her," she said. "Just don't spoil her too much."

"I wouldn't... okay, I'll try not to," Savannah said as she carefully gathered baby Victoria into her arms.

"Between you, Parker and all the rest of our friends and family I think we're doomed." Although from what Isabel had seen of the Victoria that turned up in Fandom, she wasn't too spoiled.

Parker was still pacing impatiently, looking like she wanted to go out for a cigarette for the first time in years when they announced the baby had arrived.

"Finally." You'd think she'd given birth to Victoria herself.

"These things take time," said the nurse as she lead Parker back towards the happy family.

Isabel looked up and smiled. "So, ready to meet your namesake?"

"Tell me you didn't name her Maureen," Parker said, but couldn't help grinning hugely. "...unbelievable." Her voice has softened a little.

"Victoria Maureen," Isabel replied, her eyes bright. "Victoria for Grandpa Victor, and Maureen for the best friend I never thought I'd have."

"Damnit. Making me emotional," Parker complained, sitting gingerly on the edge of the bed, fingers hovering over Victoria's soft baby skull. "She's gorgeous. And I'm not just saying that as you best friend."

"Please. Deal with the raging hormones and then tell me about being emotional."

She shifted, holding the baby out to Parker. "Want to hold her?"

"Oh, I wouldn't..." Parker paused, fear of doing something to hurt Victoria accidentally warring with fascination. "Well. Over the bed, I can't hurt her. Right?" She very carefully held out her arms. "I have no idea what I'm doing."

"And you think I do?" Isabel asked once she'd past Victoria over. "I think we're going to be making it all up as we go along."

"Shouldn't Wyatt have some kind of cheat code for this?" Parker wondered. She was being ultra-careful not to squish Victoria, staring at the miniature Isabel-made person. "How are you feeling, by the way? Emotional or physical."

Piper quietly made her way into the room, all smiles. "Hey. How are you doing? Both of you?"

That's when her eyes immediately went to the tiny baby, awww.

"We're perfect," Isabel replied. "And there's a little girl here who wants to meet her grandmother."

"Well, it just so happens there's a grandmother who would love to meet and hold the little girl," Piper replied, grinning.

Smiling happily, Isabel held out the baby. "Meet Victoria Maureen. Isn't she perfect?"

Piper gently took the baby into her arms, smiling down at her little face. "Hi Victoria. Your mama is right, you are perfect."

"I'm fine. But you're the youngest grandmother ever," Wyatt said, positively beaming.

"A fact you'll remind me of often, I'm sure," Piper chuckled.

She didn't mind. Being a super young grandmother just meant she could get a head start on spoiling that perfectly healthy little baby.

"We may be begging you to babysit sometimes," Wyatt said. "I doubt there are many people qualified to deal with a part-witch, part-whitelighter, part-alien baby."

"Well, I'll try my best," Piper said, smiling. "I'll always be willing to look after her. Anytime."
