406, Monday afternoon

After a long, hot shower, Isabel finally felt warm. It's not that she didn't enjoy canoeing. She really did. It was the dumping part she could have done without. Now she's relaxing with a hot chocolate and her trashy novel.

On his way to Jack's room, plant in one hand and bag in the other, Cedric stops when he notices Isabel's door open.

"Good afternoon, Isabel. How are you today?"

"Warm now," she replied. "Nice plant."

"Oh, it's not mine," he says, nodding at the plant. "I'm returning it to Jack since I'm sure he misses it. Warm? You were cold before?"

"Cute," she smiled. "Greg and I were canoeing earlier today and we got dumped. The water in the ocean is a little cold."

"Ah, yes, that would lead to being cold," he says. "Did you have a good time at least?"

Isabel's bright smile probably answered the question before she said a word. "I had a great time."

"You look like you did," he replies, nodding his head. "Good for you. Enjoy yourself."

"I am," Isabel replied. "Life is good right now." She looked down for a second, gathering her thoughts. "Do you remember when you said you'd help me practice? Did you mean that?"

"Absolutely," he says, nodding. "Whenever you'd like to, I'm available. My workshops occur Thursday and Friday."

"When on Thursday?" she asked. "Because I'm free all day. So it's really up to you."

"Thursday afternoon," he says. "So, anytime in the morning would be good, yes?"

"That works fine for me. Maybe a little earlier so we don't attract an audience? I'll buy the coffee," she grinned.

"Perfect," he says, smiling. "You buy the coffee, I will attempt to drink it and we'll see what each other can do."

"Change that. I'll buy a coffee and a tea. Then we'll see what we can do," she laughed. "Now you better go bring Jack his plant before he puts in a Missing Person's report on it."
