Room 406, Sunday morning

Despite waking up several times still feeling the mummy's claws digging into her neck, Isabel had slept reasonably well. It had helped that each time she woke up, there was someone to hold onto as she went back to sleep. She doesn't have to be anywhere until cheerleading practice, and given how stiff and sore she feels, Isabel isn't certain she's actually going to be doing much practice. But she'll go, because she is part of the team.

For now though, she's content to doze, snuggled up next to Greg.

"I think you've persuaded me," he murmured, bumping his nose against hers. "But I think you also made me completely forget what I've been persuaded to do."

"Hmmm...," Isabel tipped her forehead to rest against his. "I think there was something about dinner. But I'm not sure."

"And a crown, so I can be regal," he mused, tucking a lock of her hair behind her ear. "Or something."

"Or something," she whispered, bringing her hand up to trace his cheek.

He smiled at her, and bent his head to kiss her again. "I really should go," he mumbled between kisses. "Soon."

"Yeah, soon," she said, parting her lips under his.

"Which is later than now," he said somewhat nonsensically, wrapping his hands around her waist.

"Much," she murmured, moving her hands to run through his hair. "Much."

"I like later," he told her, kissing over her cheek and down her jaw to her neck. "Later's good."

Isabel sucked in a breath and tipped her chin up. "Yeah," she said in a huff. "Later."

"I'm in no hurry to go anywhere," he assured her, nuzzling a little at her ear.

"Good," Isabel purred. "Very good."
