Room 406, all afternoon

Friday Isabel was recruited for a rescue mission. Saturday she visited another planet for the first time. She wasn't surprised when a fight broke out but it didn't matter since they'd found Aeryn and were able to get home with no one seriously injured. Well, at least physically. Isabel was worried about Aeryn but figured she needed a few days without people poking at her.

She opened the door to her room, greeted a meowing Annie, and immediately reached for her phone to leave a message. After that it was time to hit the shower, change into some comfy clothes and then raid the common room kitchen for food.

Immediate needs met, Isabel settled down on her bed with a book to read and relax. Within minutes she fell into a light doze.

The door was open.

Isabel blinked sleepily and then smiled. "Hey yourself. How are you?"

"Dandy. Are you okay?" he asked, his eyes roving and taking inventory.

"Other then being tired? I'm perfectly fine," she assured him. "No bumps, no bruises, no cuts, no scrapes. We're all fine. And even more importantly? We got her back."

"Good," Greg murmured, moving up to curl around her on the bed. "And no one hurt you at all?"

Isabel snuggled into him, much more comfortable then she'd been in the Prowler or the transport pod. "Well some toad like thing tried to hurt my feelings. I told her to piss off."

"That's my girl," he said into her hair.

"Well she pissed me off," she explained, tipping her head up to plant a kiss on his chin. "She interrupted a conversation I was having with someone who was willing to help just to insult him. And then she insulted me. So I told her off and she left. Then there was the guy that wanted our garbage. He was willing to give us information for my empty water bottles. Then he hit on Luke."

"Empty water bottles are currency?"

"For him yes. Of course when he found out who we were looking for he wanted nothing to do with us," Isabel said, reaching for his hand and tangling their fingers together.

"Well, at least he had water bottles to keep him company," he murmured.

"Who knows, maybe they're worth a king's ransom. And he's living a life of luxury now," she chuckled. "But after that we wandered through the market some more, then we found Aeryn, shot it out with the Peacekeepers, got away and came home."

"I have no idea what a Peacekeeper is," he admitted, playing with her hair.

"The military that Aeryn was a part of," Isabel explained, nuzzling his neck. "They're the the big bad in that part of space."

"Are you tired?" he asked softly.

"Very," she admitted. "The Prowler was a bit squishy to ride in on the way out. There was more in the ship we stole on the way back but I couldn't get comfortable enough to really sleep."

"You should sleep," he said, kissing her neck. "Sorry for bugging you, honey."

"You're not bugging me. I missed you. I wanted to see you." Isabel propped her head up on her hand and smiled at him. "I'll nap for a bit later on."

"I have work tonight," he said, kissing her forehead. "But you need sleep."

"Yes, no visits to the bar tonight," she agreed. "I'll be unconscious early. I guess I'll try and get some work done this afternoon. I didn't exactly bring my homework along with me. And I need to call Parker. She was wondering why I didn't turn up to get the keys to the Miata."

"Or you could scrap all that and take a nap with me before I have to work," he decided with a yawn.

"I don't know," Isabel said, making a half hearted attempt to pull away. "The reading I need to do for Interstellar Relations is pretty intriguing."

"More intriguing than this?" he asked, trying to hold her closer.

"You know what? No," she laughed, snuggling back against him. "A nap sounds good. A nap with you? Even better. But before we fall asleep, I have a question."

"Pie," Greg answered sleepily.

"Camping," Isabel said with a laugh. "Thursday after Ethics? Come back in time for my family to invade on Friday?"
