Isabel's Room - 406, Hyperion Hotel, Wednesday morning

Despite being up late, Isabel was still up early. After getting dressed, she booted up her laptop and grumbled when there was only the faintest of WiFi signals available, apparently from the building next store. The signal did get stronger the closer she got to the window. Which explains why Isabel is currently perched on the window sill, looking up things to do in LA.

Just like in Fandom, the door to her room was open.

"We're talking everything!" Isabel grinned. "From the teacup ride, to Buccaneers of the West Indies, to Space Mountain. And you can never be too old for Disney. Besides, Cedric has never seen anything like it. It'll be fun."

"Okay, you've sold me on it." Parker grinned, and wiggled her toes. "I want shopping at Rodeo Drive before we go home. And time to whap Angel on the head. But Disneyland has to happen now. Any ideas for New Year's Eve? Party here, maybe?"

"I'll go watch you shop. My allowance is good, but not quite that good," she said. "And somehow explaining Rodeo Drive charges on the emergency credit card to mom? Not fun at all."

"A party would be good. Oh!" Isabel said, climbing to her feet. "Do you think we can convince Angel to have a dress up party? Cause look at what he got me!" She opened her closet and pulled out a dress. "Isn't it gorgeous?"

"Wow. God, he has good taste." Parker reached out to rub her fingers against the dress, amazed. "Oh, you definitely have to wear this somewhere for New Year's. I'll help you talk Angel into a party, if you want. If he won't go for that, we need to all go clubbing." She grinned at Isabel. "Hmmm. Wonder what he got me?"

"I think we need to talk him into having an elegant party here. The hotel is just screaming for it. Besides," she said, raising an eyebrow. "There's a hell of a lot of pretty in this hotel. It would be nice to see it all dressed up. It'll almost make up for Greg not being here." Isabel laughed at Parker, "I'm sure he got you something absolutely perfect. Because he knows you'd thwap him if he got you something like a chia pet."

"Got that right," Parker said sardonically. "I got him something nice, he needs to return the favor." She stretched a bit. "God, I'm still wrung out. I went riding around on a Vespa with Vasilios... yesterday? I guess. I really should've rested up for the party with Daddy's execs instead. Can we hit the beach while we're here too? I know it's cold, but I love it."

"Well you've jumped how many time zones? You should sleep. Eventually." She rummaged through a drawer, pulling out a pair of comfy pjs and heading towards the bathroom. "I think I could be convinced to hit the beach," she called through the half open door. "And I think if I can convince Cedric to go as well. Especially if I promise him we'll make sure he stays out of trouble."

"Sounds good," Parker said in a muzzy voice. "Oh, hey, do you have *any* idea what's up with Cal? This was not the floorshow I was anticipating."

"God is she still morbid and depressed?" Isabel asked when she came out of the bathroom. "She was really down last night, then she and Logan started fighting. I got the hell out of there."

Parker sat up, looking a trifle suspicious. "No. She's all -- sweet. And wearing what look like curtains. And she has no idea who I am, or anyone else here, for that matter. She thinks we're somewhere near Crete and her mom will be back to get her soon."

"Cal? Sweet? That's like calling Jack innocent. It just doesn't work." She stretched out on the bed. "Do I even want to know how Angel is reacting to this?"

"I know." Parker made a face. "I think he's hiding from her. The coward. And! He told her *I* knew where her mom is. He's so getting thwapped for that."

"Oh yes, definite thwapping then," Isabel agreed. "That's just not fair."

"For the record? Her mom is helping out with a breech birth somewhere in Greece." Parker sighed. "I should go back to bed, wake up when I'm *really* awake. Grab me tomorrow when you guys are getting ready for Disneyland, okay?"

"I will keep that in mind," she nodded. "And I will. Make sure to wear comfy shoes."

"*Cute* shoes." Parker grinned as she leaned back in the door. "So you can persuades some strapping guy to give you a piggyback ride 'cause your feet hurt."

"Too bad Cedric didn't bring his broom. He could have flown us around," Isabel laughed. "That would have certainly been a sight."
