Disneyland, all day

Isabel had tried to be mature and blase about going to Disney. But by the time they'd gotten their tickets, gotten into the park and were standing on Main Street, she was pretty much bouncing with excitement. "Okay, where do you want to go first?"

[Anyone in LA can hop in. Just assume a handwavey invite. Please wait for the OCD is up! But I'm still insane]

The car rolled forward into a dark tunnel and voice called out - Three, Two, One...Lauching!

With a sudden jerk, they were off.

"All right, well then," Cedric started to say before they jerked away. After that, he kind of just kept his mouth shut and concentrated on making sure the seat belt was buckled tightly.

There's an occasional squeak of glee from Isabel as they rounded corners and went down the smaller hills. When the car slowed down and the familiar clack-clack sounded as the car was pulled up to the highest point, she leaned forward over Cedric's shoulder. "So what do you think?"

"I think I'm really very glad this seat belt is tight," Cedric called, looking over the edge of the car.

Isabel laughed. Whatever she was going to say next was lost as they reached the top of the hill and went zooming down.

Cedric didn't scream. His face merely contorted into an expression between shock, surprise and enjoyment.

The ride finished and the car slowed to a stop. Isabel hopped out first then turned and held out her hand to Cedric. "Traumatized? Or can we ride it again later?"

Cedric took the offered hand, taking a moment to make sure his legs weren't going to buckle.

"That was...interesting." He swallowed and straightened up. "In a good way."

"Now that's being very diplomatic," Isabel grinned, squeezing his hand and tugging him towards the exit. "How about we try something a little more low key? Like Buccaneers of the Sea or the Haunted Mansion. Then we can try Big Thunder Mountain later on."

[And woe, I must flee. Back after 3ish.]

"Then the Haunted Mansion it is!" Still bouncing happily, she led the way through the park.
