Getting up on a cold winter morning was difficult, it was especially difficult when someone was snuggled up to you. But duty called.

Isabel opened the library on time, her usual mocha in hand.

"Hi Isabel. Didn't know you worked in the library."

"Hi Ami. I do, Wednesdays now with the new schedule," she explained.

"It's fun. I get to see people plus I usually get first dibs on the new magazines when they get in," Isabel grinned. "To say nothing of any new Angelica Desmesnes books."

"The librarian usually takes applications at the start of the Fall semester," she explained. "So maybe in September you can apply."

Ami nodded. "If i am still here, i would love to do that. Meanwhile, i should do homework." She pulled out a piece of paper. "Where would i find books on Aerospace Engineering?"

Isabel handwavily checked the card catalogue. "They'll be down that aisle there," she said. "I think on one of the lower shelves."
