Room 406, morning

Isabel returned from spending the night in Rory's room and frowned when she didn't see Xander. Concerned, she went off to look for him.



After finding Xander in the stairwell, Isabel and Xander both returned to the room. When she entered, Isabel picked up the mug of coffee she's brought up from Rory's room. It was much cooler now. With her back to Xander, she held the mug, concentrating on the coffee until she felt its increased warmth through the mug.

She turned around and held the mug out. "Here, as promised, coffee..."

The rather simple choice may have been a bit too much for Xander's mental processes to handle, as he stared at her for a second, gears grinding in his head. Or maybe somebody in there had fired up the belt-sander.

"Uh. Coffee good. You can have the shower," he said at last.

"Thanks. Cause this whole sleeping on the floor, in your clothes from the day before? Ick! I think I might agree with what you said about an incinerator." She started to step into the bathroom and stopped, before closing the door. "I'll make it quick."

He sat down on his bed, still sipping gingerly at the hot coffee. "Works for me; gah. Can't wait to scrub last night off my skin. Possibly out of my brain if I can find that extra toothbrush. Don't think I even want to touch anything around here without showering."

"Okay, you're...." Isabel's voice trailed off as she left the bathroom after her shower. Xander was sound asleep, sprawled across his bed. She grabbed a blanket and spread it over him. Quietly she gathered up her stuff and left the room to get ready for game night.
