Room 406, evening

After a the hectic pace of the last few weeks, Isabel was grateful for some downtime, even if it meant she had too much time to think about fun with the kids and saying goodbye.

But things were slowly returning to normal. She'd covered library, had breakfast with Cedric, spent time with friends, and fulfilled StuCo responsibilities. Looking at the two packages sitting on her desk, Isabel realized that some things had slipped through the cracks. She made two phone calls then settled down to do some studying.

After getting her message, Peter wandered up to Isabel's room and knocked on the door.

"It's open," she called, setting aside her book.

"Wrong. It's Peter," Peter said.

Isabel stuck her tongue out at him. "Be nice to me or you won't get your birthday presents."

"If I'm kind of nice, do I still get one?" Peter asked.

"Maybe," she said. "The small one. And I'm sorry I didn't get these to you earlier. Things were a little busy which I'm sure you know."

"How many kids did you have?" Peter asked.

"Two," Isabel smiled. "A four year old little guy named Josh Evans-Sanders, and a seven year old chatterbox named Alexandria with Jack. How about you?"

"I had two with Zero," Peter said. "May Anarchy and Arachnid Ben Hopeless-Savage-Parker. I honestly don't know about the names."

Aeryn almost seems downright social today. After getting Isabel's message, she stops by and knocks on the door.

"It's open!" she called.

Aeryn opens the door and gives her a little smile when she steps in, greeting her with "Hey."

"Happy Birthday!" Isabel smiled. "Just a little late."

"Thank you," she says. "I'm surprised anyone remembered, actually."

"I remember the party last year," she explained. "And who was celebrating with me."

"And yours was prom," Aeryn says. "I'm sorry, I was a bit distracted. Happy birthday."

"We all were distracted on prom," Isabel laughed. "It's completely understandable. Did you have fun?"

Parker stopped by after talking to Anders, and greeted Isabel with "Well, Daisy's insane again. Also, hi."

"Ya think?" Isabel snickered.

"Quit laughing," Parker protested, flopping back on Isabel's bed. "He and Bel and Phoebe are now officially an item. Like that has a chance in Hell of ending well."

"I figured as much when one of their kids turned up in my room on Sunday talking about one of the moms being Anders," Isabel explained. "It won't end well. Because they're leaving. But I'd rather see it end because they left then for any other reason. Does that make sense?"

"As a choice between him winding up a demon sacrifice or turned into a lamp, yes." Parker sighed, staring at the ceiling. "And he's wanted Bel too long to listen to sense. And he and Phoebe are a package deal, and Anders likes her a lot too... So, yeah." She made a face at the ceiling. "If they manage to do anything as stupid as getting him *more* messed up before Graduation, all bets are off, though."

"There's not all that much time left," she pointed out. "So my fingers are crossed."

"Mmmm." Parker sounded unconvinced, but sat up, looking around for Annie to play with. "Anyway. Something else I came by to talk about, aside from the weirdness of our children. Because that topic is practically inexhaustible."

Annie chose that moment to come wandering out from under the bed. "I loved the weirdness of our children. I miss them."
